There are several interfaces available to administer Tivoli
Workload Scheduler: The Job Scheduling Console, the command
line interfaces composer and conman.
While each of these standard interfaces has its strengths,
none combine power, flexibility, and ease of navigation.
In addition, a number of functions are only available
from the command line. Report generation, in particular,
is limited to simple reports generated from the command
line. Complex scripting is required to create anything
beyond the basic, “canned” reports.
TWS/WebAdmin
bridges these gaps by providing a web browser based interface
to Tivoli Workload Scheduler. The web browser provides
an almost universally familiar interface and a self-explanatory
navigation system.
